Jazz Series

Much like the music, these paintings embrace my notion of Jazz. Unpredictable, inherently reactive, ever-fleeting, unrelenting, and helplessly momentary. Improvisational at its core, this series feels like breaths of fresh-air to my creativity, every time I choose to paint one. Like smelling the coffee between the wines, or eating the pickled ginger between sushi bites, they act like palette-cleansers in the holiest of ways.
