The theme for the collection of small works for this exhibit is Colorado! It is a blast to make them and I feel very inspired with them. On this one a peach tree, representing the best peaches I have ever had - The Palisade peaches. These plates are only going to be available for purchase at the exhibition. Luck (Unaccounted good that exists upon its sight. At the moment to behold) , 2025. Acrylic, Alcohol Ink, and India Inks, artist wood frame. — 33”x 23” This is the second painting in the Divine Beauty Series that I’ve finished. I was inspired to paint it when I noticed that throughout my life, I had thought of ladybugs, shooting stars, and such things as signals that luck was just around the corner. In reality seeing the ladybug and the shooting star is and has always been the luck itself. The privilege of having caught that glimmering glimpse is what carries the beauty within it.

I just finished the second painting of the Divine Beauty series and will be uploading that tomorrow. Painted the frame and varnished the mirror. Now making the face for the last plate of the metal collection. Can’t wait to see them all done and side by side.
